Training to Ophthalmologists:
Ophthalmology is a fast advancing specialty, and there is a need to upgrade skills continuously. To address this need, the Hospital has introduced training programs for aspiring Ophthalmologists in General Ophthalmology and Small Incision Cataract surgery. Over 60 Ophthalmologists are already trained under this program

Projects for the next 3 years
The new Hospital has infrastructure enough to house all the super specialties and perform up to 100 operations in a day. In the coming three years, effort will be made to utilize this facility to the maximum. Hospital has set a few targets for the coming 3years viz.,

1. To conduct 1000 cataract operations in a month.
2. To activate fully, all the Super Specialty Clinics
3. To start an Eye Bank
4. To start Vitreo retinal Clinic
5. To start B.Sc/Diploma course for Ophthalmic Assistants.
