Ramachander (aged 54) lives in a village near Bagepalli, Chikkaballapura Dist. He was a daily wage labourer and has 4 members to feed at home. He started loosing eyesight since 5 years and became blind since last 2 years, putting the whole family into deep crisis. He lived in misery till 25 -10 - 2010, when our eye camp team picked him up and got him operated in our hospital. He is back to work and the family is back on its feet..
Adhi Lakshmi (22 years) wife of P.N. Babu having two small children lives in a village called Guluru. Adhi Lakshmi was suffering with pain, irritation, itching and vision loss in both her eyes due to pterygium. Adhi Lakshmi and her husband were in deep distress till the camp was organized by GEF in their area. She was operated for her right eye on 25 - 10 -2010 and sent back with improved vision and relief from pain, she profoundly thanks the donor who supported her operation.
Lakshmi Devamma (40 years) Working as a contract labourer in a factory called Akzonobel in Pillagumpe Industrial Area. She had an ocular injury 2 years back and developed traumatic cataract in both eyes which resulted in loss of eyesight. Lakshmi Devamma a poor lady having 3 children and a husband working as a daily wage labourer had no chance to get her eye examined until GEF organized a camp in the factory premises. She was operated for her left eye cataract on 27 - 10 - 2010. Happy Lakshmi Devamma started working in the factory from 1st November and expressed (Thumba Dhanyawada) extreme thanks to the donor who supported her operation.
